October 14, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am EDT

Data Drives Decision-Making in Vector Control

Data is used to monitor and adapt to insecticide resistance trends and facilitate the use of new tools related to expanded indoor residual spraying (IRS) and insecticide-treated net (ITN) products.

In this webinar, three national malaria program vector control leads, from Cameroon, Madagascar, and Zambia, will discuss their techniques for stratification and targeting of vector control interventions, monitoring resistance to insecticides, and monitoring and optimizing vector control coverage, with facilitation by the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative VectorLink Project.

Presenters:
Dr. Saraha Rabeherisoa (Vector Control Lead), from Madagascar’s National Malaria Control Program
Dr. Raymond Tabue (Medical Entomologist, Integrated Vector Control Lead), from Cameroon’s National Malaria Control Program
Dr. Emmanuel Kooma (Vector Control Specialist), from Zambia’s National Malaria Elimination Centre
